Value of SC/Carrera Rear Wing/Spoiler & Front Lip
I pulled these off an '83 SC that I recently imported from Japan and am returning to original no spoilers per the COA. I'd like to get a value range to post for sale.
Thanks, JF Link to Pics: https://goo.gl/photos/oRLibPSjUYxiUgy2A The wing it painted Slate Blue Metallic, it has one area that is cracked and will need repair see pic top left corner, the rest is in very nice condition. The rubber is in nice condition with only minor wear. The lip has some wear but is still presentable. Last edited by jfawsitt; 07-07-2017 at 11:37 AM.. |

Used lip - no hardware - I'd say $100-125 maybe.
The Carrera wing - maybe $5-600.

The big thing with the tails is the shipping. If you can find somebody local to buy it you can probably get a little more for it. They usually go in the $400 to $500 range without needing any repairs. I bought an original Carrera tail a couple years ago for $400 with the deck lid , although I think that was a pretty good deal. And it was close enough to me that I was able to drive and pick it up. I tried to have a tail shipped to be from Colorado and the shipping was over $200. Maybe there's a cheaper method but that particular guy couldn't find it. Greyhound maybe. If it's not an original Porsche tail that's going to devalue it some. If the lip is in good shape and you could sell the pair together you can probably get 500 bucks for them.
