The front end and body panels on the 86 are solid and no rust so that's all fine...

The rust one I could use the entire thing for another car or fix the rust.

There are far worse cars out there asking more than 4k compared to the 78

You could build a speedster replica of this car (my fav cab) out of the slant.

I have the front and rear bumpers and speedster humps:

That thing is sweet.

Seller for some reason wants 6k now which is kinda funny but told him if he needs them gone he has my number.

Might just get the black one and use it to complete a local one we shall see.

1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Slantnose Project Rolling chassis Salvage no engine

Schwarzhorse 08-19-2017 09:21 AM

I was going to suggest getting the Flachbau Slant's VIN and researching it at the M505 Slant registry to see if it was an actual RARE Slant Cab. But, having looked at the link matt930s provided, it seems the seller is claiming it's only an altered/modified '86 Carrera. Oh well..

Getting both for 2 grand in Friday.

Worth it or no?

If you own a sawzall, there's $2k in just sheet metal.

Just have to find a way to get them home now..

ItzaMe 08-31-2017 04:35 AM

Anyone have any ideas of getting them home or someone they use?

Car needs to be delivery 300 miles to Cleveland.

I have a buddy that will be posting it on central dispatch hopefully can get something within the next few days.

SalParadise 08-31-2017 05:36 AM

Right on. Now that's a fair deal.

They do more than drive around looking for cars. They have contacts at DMV's that provide registered owner info on specific cars. I have seen that yellow car in person and it's an abortion

ItzaMe 09-01-2017 05:31 AM

Damn, not even surprised.

Man I've been looking at that car a lot online. What about it makes it an abortion? Too far gone into the race car direction, or??

Cal44 09-01-2017 02:11 PM

You'll put in a bunch of time hauling and trying to sell this junk. Better off going in to work and getting overtime and pumping up your savings. Trust me........I know of what I speak.
I can't tell you how much time I have wasted over the years. For nothing

Just cheese balls from what I recalled but to be honest I was looking at it from a perspective of restoring back so who knows. What's your perspective? I can look at again for you at some point
