Article doesn't apply to most people. Asset class? 14 million for a CAR?

All I know is that most clean, original, desirable, classic sporting automobiles that I see regardless of make are still at least minimum five figures.

But I'll gladly buy a 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula model optioned like I want for less than 10K the day it comes crashing down. I'll take a grip of them actually.....

Yep, I didn't make it very far in that article. Asset class and I was gone. What they were talking about will never mean anything to me.

They were trying to tie collectible car sales data to the broader economy and suggest that we're all gonna die.

When people on these forums were starting to talk about collector cars being an asset class that was the first sign. When new members on these forums were talking about which cars were better buys for investments that was the next sign. Too bad there was no way to short the market.
