I'd love it but...
seems like the kind of car I'd want to own under some sort of warranty.
With no warranty any trip to the dealer could get expensive quick.

3 owners and not one over rev? Hard to believe.
In fact, I don't.

997 GT3 prices...

I think the recent availability of a “real” 6 speed manual transmission in new GT3’s has very slightly bumped down 997 GT3 resale values. My rough guess from eyeballing hundreds of ads for the past year is a recent roughly 5% downward move.

I constantly scan for used Mezger GT3’s since I want one in the near future as my bucket list 911, and my guess is that this one will sell for around an even $100k.

Speaking of monkeying with the DME read out, in this day and age of computer evil geniuses, how easy is it to fake the DME readouts? Is there a secondary method to check for engine abuse on a 996 or 997.1 or 997.2 GT3?

A big fear of mine is buying what appears to be a well maintained and responsibly driven GT3 that has been beat to crap on the track with numerous issues hidden behind a falsified DME report.

The 997.1s are more attractive if you ask me. The .2s however seem to bring a bit more money I am going to say 100k+fees

In this day and age, the mere absence of ANY over revs just smells. Are you telling me nobody ever floored this GT3 and bumped it off the rev limiter?

Not that this would disqualify the car from evaluation. Over revs are not all created equal, or necessarily a deal killer. But ZERO? Come on. Huge red flag after 3 owners.

No Range 3 on a GT3 with a cage and track history is quite odd.
