76 930 currently on BaT...

Nice car....it’s been stuck at 65K for awhile. About 2 days left. Thoughts? The Market or waiting to see what happens.

It has been on Craigslist for sale for weeks. I know not the best venue to sell a 930, but it still gets it infront of potential buyers.

The ask was $145k, a little high in today's market but $65k is sure not the market either.

The car that sold for $174k at RM was a 11k mile original car, the BAT car is a totally different animal.

Was it normal to not have sport seats and a 930?

Yes. Sport seats were optional equipment.

I appreciate that but this car has farther to go....... certainly not $174K.

I believe the 930 will do $100,000..

The color is truly awful. OLD PERSON GOLD...

Very little if any maintenance records. Selling a 930 with next to no maintenance records means the bidders have ALL built in a $35,000 engine rebuild in their final bid.

Seller needs to document what ever maintenance records they can find..

A nice 76 930 is worth $150,000 + but this 76 930.. I’m sorry but you need better documentation to sell a $150,000 car than “my father drove the 930 for business “..

Sorry if these statements offend anyone or the seller.

That said I feel like these 3.0 turbos still have HUGE appreciation left over the next 10 + years.

I could quite easily see these 3.0 930s doubling yet again in value over the next 10 years.

So even with conditioning of the 76 930 above you cant really go wrong.

I'd say the color would appeal to someone looking for a "period correct" color vs. a traditional color.

I would love to own the discussed BaT 930.... but not at current market. I can have just as much fun at a third of the price.
