Porsche 911 GT2 RSR with 1,160bhp
One of McLaren Scottsdale’s most interesting offerings. The US dealer has in stock a very rare, highly modified and hugely powerful Porsche 911 GT2 for sale I guess the Aero is there for a reason and not Ricer B.S.

It was at a local cars n coffee this Saturday. One of my coworkers Corvette Club buddies spied it and took a couple of photos..as I mentioned it had a dealer paper tag dated 1/31 but I couldn't read any other information on the tag, other than the number..."barf and "wow" seem to cover the whole range of responses, but it certainly looks well done

Incredible car - don't care for how the rear quarters are blended into the tail, but with almost 1200 hp it can look any way it wants too.

It's a DP based bodykit. 911Design has built a few 996 Turbos with them.

Don’t they have a Cup that runs everything but the rear tail?

Some may have been Cup based Matt but I haven't seen one that didn't have Turbos. Loren likes high HP turbo motors built off of Cup and RSR motors. Years ago Loren's personal car was a 996 based car with that DP body kit and I think that's the car that is still on the side of his trailer but I don't think it has been run in a while or maybe was lost in the fire, I don't know.

This is the one I remember seeing with his old car, he must have rewrapped it.

Yep, that's the one. It's on Fabcar's website too. It was built for Marvin Epps to run the Rolex Daytona 24 Hours. After Loren bought it, he sent it back to Fabcar to be reskinned as a Boxster. He still has it. It was not a victim of the fire.

The 996 on his trailer and what is now the black/white Cayman are two different cars. The Cayman was/is a Fabcar chassis, the 996 with the DP kit on his trailer was a rear engine factory Tub car. The Fabcar mid-engine cars originally had 993ish looking bodywork.
