Ouch! Jaegermeister

So.. A lot of us saw that Jaegermeister tribute car at Barrett-Jackson sell for $110,000. I guess that buyer woke up the next morning and realized what happened.
The car is now on eBay 😧

That's got to be the most horrorendous front bumper ever put on a 911. It's an impact bumper with a big huge ugly fish mouth thing happening... yikes...

I'd take all the graphics off/ swap out front bumper/ add sport seats and drive it.

I wonder what the reserve is, and how much $ will the current owner lose on this?

They may just be using it as advertising for the RV dealership.

I do not see a front mounted cooler there and the opening for brake cooling ducting appear to be wide open. wonderful way to promote a ton of air getting under the car at speed causing instability.

Based on the VIN, 16 months ago it was for sale/sold for $60K and looked like a perfectly normal - actually pretty rare white on white - if higher mileage, 930:

VIN: WP0JB0936GS050895 - Porsche: 911 Turbo porsche 911

Unless it was later wrecked, I wonder why they couldn't have found a less valuable donor car for this creature?

EDIT:

On closer look at the door photo in the eBay ad - looks like the car is still white - but wrapped in orange.

Stickers don't just add HP they add 60k in price!

Needs a front cooler if you're going to run that front bumper. And no, you can't swap the front bumper, that's a big part of that car's look. You swap the bumper you might as well pull the wrap and flares and wheels etc.

This fit and finish is a bit disappointing considering the price.

Engine pics are broken on ebay too...

I really do not understand these recreations in looks only and who they appeal to?
Another car that should go on the 'Sheeper' Thread.

Not one pic of the engine. Not one. And no underside pics, either. Oh yeah, and no description to speak of. YGTBSM.

I’m telling you it’s just an ad. They aren’t looking to sell. They are going to depreciate it on their corporate taxes.

It doesn't look like an ad. The livery isn't of his business. It looks like a drunken mistake.

I was tending to agree with this - but then checked their inventory and am not so sure. Seems they have a side business dealing luxury SUV's - and a few oddball Porsches - including this one and a 928 chop-job convertible.

$150K and you can drive it off the lot! (if it runs)

Inventory - Airstream of Scottsdale

Still could be some sort of tax loss deal I guess, but I wouldn't count out the free flowing alcohol at the BJ auction.

At least when the factory put that bumper on, they included big horsepower to their 934
