Crustacean 911

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Porsche-911-NO-RESERVE-2-7S-ALGAE-FIND-SHOW-CAR/273133741807?hash=item3f980a26ef:g:-eYAAOSwoupaprRC&vxp=mtr

A very strange idea from the seller, the 911 sideshow. Peru red tho, great color.

Something is fishy about that listing.

I didn't understand the guy's listing.....and it's not like a '76 is some desirable model....so my A.D.D. wouldn't let me read his whole write-up.

Hey Dave - where have you been? '76 is now desirable. Very much so - there are very few left.

I think the guy description is pretty hilarious, and I don't think he takes himself that seriously. I wouldn't leave it like that - but he's right - take it to Monterey or the like and people would surround it. They wouldn't care that it was a '76. It looks like an ancient 911 that was just discovered.

Guarantee that this algae patina is going to add value. He was smart for leaving it - people are absolutely mesmerized by it.

At the end of the day, it's a 911 that was very poorly stored.

Great ad and very cool way to sell a car.

I'm with the seller, why remove the honesty that is this find?

That seller is ridiculously shady and lacks integrity. Guy lists Porsche's out of the Dallas area all the time and literally just uses ebay for free advertising. He essentially never lets an auction complete and always removes the listing "due to a listing error" so he can avoid paying ebay any fees. He's sold at least 10-15 cars over the last year and as you'll see in his auction history only one, ironically his recent first listing of the Crustacean, has ever made it to completion and in to his history.

Typical shady no integrity having behavior that reeks of entitlement which sadly has become a recent rampant epidemic in society.

Now they're not even washing them before they sell them. Some bubble.

Sooper patina

I have a '77 924 in brown with genuine Yeti crap on the hood. A friends uncle actually saw the Yeti defecate on the hood. He has since passed, but he did save the Charmin that the Yeti used in a Zip Loc bag for later forensic analysis.
Can I now "write my own ticket" on BaT? This may be the retirement plan I was looking for!!
