Hello Swamper,
I am extremely lame at navigating PP. So I am replying to your latest post to ask this question: can I replace stock brake lines with Spiegler lines, flush, refill and bleed my ‘04 BCR’s linked, power, ABS brake-system without needing a BMW diagnostic computer? Thanks, Steve |

Probably better to start a new thread for your question or goto a Facebook group for the 1100s. Short answer is yes, you can do what you are seeking. Swamper - your bike will sell this spring! Surprised it hasn't as it seems to be a nice bike and priced too fairly for the value of what one is buying. I'm biased though! Brian |

No special tools needed. You need to read and understand how the brake system works. You will learn a lot and know all the mystery about this system. Basically you will learn there is a specific order in which to bleed the fittings and that the system really has two reservoirs within each, front and rear. Make sure you don't let the reservoirs get to low, keep topping them off while bleeding. The reservoirs on the servo unit have a very small capacity so watch them closely while bleeding.

Swamped, thanks! I will give it a shot. Nine brake bleeders can be a bit daunting. Steve
