Wtb: R1100s

Hi all.

I owned a '99 a while back and wish I hadn't sold it. I'd like to find one again, preferably in black, with luggage and ABS.

I've seen a few in the traditional places - Cycle Trader and whatnot - but the ones that come up here are typically better specimens, so I thought I'd see if anyone was looking to part with theirs.

I'm in the DC area but can go anywhere, pretty much, to look at one.

It's not black, but there's a guy in the BMW DFW club who's selling his Mamola liveried BCR. Well maintained with some choice goodies. He tossed this out to the club the other day to give us first dibs before going global with it. Let me know and I'll put you in touch.

I’m not on p/p often these days, but in Washington state, I know of a ridiculously low mile ‘ 99 R1100s with touring bags , ABS, heated grips, unmolested (bone stock) zero condition issues, 5793 actual miles. Came from a rich guys private collection of bikes, it’s said to have been ridden and serviced regularly, although just enough to keep things lubed and moving . Never wrecked. Contact me if you’re still looking. It’s yellow, or officially “Mandarin” BMW Color.
