WTB: R1100S Mandarin/Graphite Boxer
Greetings all. Just arrived in the forum. As my beautiful yellow VFR heads for hoser land, I am in need of an upgrade. I'm looking for the Boxer Cup Prep Mandarin and Graphite R1100S, preferably with less than 20K, in very good condition. Options are optional, but color is not.
My favorite look is the rare nacelle with the same size projector headlights. Let's make a deal! |

If you end up finding a bike without the seat cowl, let me know. I have a Mandarin seat cowl with the graphite squares on it for some reason, so I can probably hook you up.
One piece at a time, that's how a lot of people have changed out the color on their bike!

Will do, thanks for the offer. Back in early winter there were always two or three of these bikes on ebay and several on cycle trader, but I've only found a couple lately and they're a little higher mileage than I'd like. Look forward to becoming an official Beemer rider someday soon.

That color combo came as both a prep and an SA. Just checking to see if you are aware of the differences. That ad is probably for an SA (which I think is more desirable). If you get one, consider this:

I didn't realize it came in an SA. I'll look that up. Somewhat subject to availability and it seems like some preps are loaded up on options while others are bare bones. Thanks. The Smuggler is a cool unit but eliminates the pillion I believe. Pillion is mission critical in my evil and subversive plan to acquire another ride

Technocracy, thanks for the heads up. I'm talking to a guy in S.F. on a very clean 2004 right now, barely 4k miles, but will keep this one in mind. lots of upgrades for sure. I like those city cases.

Welcome to the forum. Got my first bike 2 yrs ago this June. It's a 2000 with limited paint combo and sport suspension, wide wheel, ABS, heated grips.
I swapped an 18" Bmw screen for a 22" Cee Baileys...good for the trips and winter...looking to add a 12" when I find one up for sale. Different seat could be had. I don't post much but can only say that this group has the best info on the bike's history and future. I'll try to attach photo. Oh yeah, the bike satisfies all my riding styles. It's great in the twisties, loves the sweepers, and with cases can travel to Key West or the NC mountains for the week. ![]()

R11SATL, Awesome bike!! I love that paint combo as well. While we do have lots of bikes here in NW Arkansas, most are either crotch rockets or Harleys. I've literally NEVER seen any Bimmers with any of the BCR or custom paint like yours. I about fell over the first time I saw a K12 bumble bee at last years Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. It was beautiful. I'm really hoping to land an R11 soon.

Mandarin/Graphite 1100S
I have an 04' unit with 4400 original miles. Color is correct. Brand new Ohlin's, tall windscreen, bar-backs and standard BMW side cases/mounts. Not a scratch on it.
Riding more than 35 miles makes my hip really sore, that the only reason for selling. Give me a call if you are interested. I can send a few pics. It is really pretty and as new. No scratches, dents or baloney. This bike is pristine. Matt (408) 204-8827 |

Amazing how low a mileage some of these bikes have. Six years old and barely broken in. I believe I'll have something wrapped up pretty soon! I am SO missing having a bike right now.
