Yep, I intend to put these into my R1200GS. Should be great for my riding style.
Re the 'seconds' designation, you'd be hard-pressed to find flaw with these. The previous set I bought were also Lennie's 'seconds', and as he describes on his website there is no way for this crack to come into play. It's a bargain. N.

That brings up a interesting point....
What is the additional cost to add the InDuct for a R1100s to a set of seconds sprockets ?

The InDuct for the R1100S retails for $505.00 plus $38.00 shipping and handling for international customers.
This is in Australian dollars.

Here is a link to download the Rocket Sprocket installation notes.

I am surprised at the low response here, at AdvRider and the Boxertrix board.
At AdvRider there is incredible interest and excitement for a temp sensor spoofer yet little about a product that will really wake thier bikes up and pay for themselves over time with the savings in fuel. ![]() Maybe there is a much smaller market than I anticipated.

Got mine Lennie, thanks. This mod feels less easily reversible. BoosterPlug is pretty minor in comparison. Could be as simple as that.

Nils,
Out of over 300 sets sold in over 11 years I have been manufacturing these, I only know of 2 cases where they have been removed. One set here and another from a customer in the USA that I never received back after he removed them. A guy here in Melbourne fitted a set to a 2006 R1200GS he had for sale to improve the throttle response as he got used to his 2010 R1200GS. They work well and I am just not sure how to get the benefits over to the BMW riding public. A UK customer had them almost pay for themselves in one 1,920 mile trip with the savings in fuel and was estatic about the way they work. Imagine the long term savings with the reduced use of fuel. I guess time will tell. ![]() Let me know how you go with the install and the test ride.

Nils,
I know that. While it is invasive to the engine, the benefits far outweight the install. Enjoy the ride once you install the sprockets.

bigred,
The difference is as follows. I now have the sprockets manufactured with a new CNC machining process. As part of the original manufacturing process, the sprocket locating pin holes were reamed oversize of the 3mm required for the pin due to the fact the hole shrinks when heat treated. The new CNC process lacked this step and after installing the pins they have a small crack between the location pin hole and the cam mounting hole. There is nowhere for this crack to propogate as it stops at the mounting hole. I have redrilled the holes to the 3mm and the locating pin fits without causing the crack to open at all. The drilling removed 2 thousandths of an inch. The hole being undersize by this amount was enough to cause the crack due to the proximity to the cam mounting hole. Once installed, the sprocket mounts to the cam, the locating pin and sprocket are covered by a large thick washer under the mounting bolt and this sandwiches the sprocket to the cam and there is no possible way for it to cause any issues. I sell these at a discount price of $140.00 AUD and I can guarantee that they will not fail during use. I have sold many sets of these to date without issue. I discussed the issue with the original machinist, the new manufacturer and a metalurgist friend and we decided that now they have been drilled to 3mm and with the sprocket clamped to the cam, there is no issue with use.
