84 SAAB Turbo

I am working on a 84 SAAB Turbo / 8 valve. I need a fuel accumulator for the vehicle, because the current one leaks. I contacted Bosch and they said "They no longer make the part."

Currently, I am running the vehicle with the fuel accumulator hoses plugged.

Is there any problems doing this?

The car runs just fine; even better than before.

I do not smell gas.

I have no problems starting the vehicle when it is cold or hot.

This car is CIS injected?

Should be able to use one off a VW as long as the fittings are the same. Pretty much all CIS systems run at the same inlet-side pressure from the pump.
