Does anyone have a better write-up on removing/replacing fuel injectors on an E30 (1990 325i convertible) than the one listed in the Bentley manual?

I suppose that it could be a faulty potentiometer in the headlight switch, but that doesn't explain why the headlights are dim as well.

I don't think that the two issues are related, but could be. For the dim dashboard, I would replace all the bulbs in the dashboard, as some of them likely burnt out due to old age.

That's odd, as these and other bolts are designed to be removable for repair and what not. Your mechanic must be afraid that these bolts are seized I'm guessing.

It is likely seized on after all the years. Remove all bolts and then use a rubber mallet to hit the pump lightly all around until it separates from the block.
