I don't know exactly what Jeff does to the fuel distributor. I think it is primarily making sure that the piston can travel to the full limit and totally uncover the fuel slots. I'm sure he also...

I may be oversimplifying things but if you know the desired wheel width, spacer width, and what fits on a 930, you could just determine it from there...at least you could determine a minimum...
