Everything seemed to be working on the emission system so I took her in for a tune up and retest. readings were:

at Idle
HC ppm 8
co% 0
co2% 14.7
02% .05

high Idle
HC ppm 9

So got round to the closed loop test on the oxy...

So got round to the closed loop test on the oxy sensor, read steady .452 with deviation up to .455 at 4000 rpm.

Ok so just jumped the dme relay, fuel pump running still wont start.

Im thinking maybe I did cross those 2 white wires on the oxy sensor, what are the implications?

I think I'll go for the correct air filter.

So my emission tests indicate a rich burn but running without a filter would provide a lean burn.

So whats the root of the problem?...

The numbers I posted were multimeter voltages not emission results.

hc ppm 193 should be 220
co% 4.06 should be 1.20

fast idle
