I am having the same issue on my freshly rebuilt (about 3 races old) 2.7RS engine.

At low idle, it will occasionally knock pretty loudly with the oil pressure dropping.
No noises at higher RPMS....

Found a big pencil-eraser size piece of aluminum in the sump. Appears to have been an oil galley seal for the crankshaft that fell out....

I don't have a lot of engine trouble experience as my 2.4S and 2.7RS engines always ran perfectly until I missed a shift ("upshift" from 4th to 3rd at 100MPH+) or ran out of oil due to stone damage...
