Kevin have you ruled out your ignition switch. My car went dead a couple times from the switch not closing when I removed the key.

Dow 111 can be hard to find and for the amount you use the tube will out last uranium. I used Curl-T on mine. it lubes and seals worked great. The nut end gets the most twisted up from the torquing.

I am almost done with rebuilding the 3.0. I have had no real problems until now. I have the non-pressure chain tensioners and have rebuilt them. now I cant get them to collapse to install them.

The only tools I think you can't do with out is the 12 point flywheel socket, a dial gauge to time the cams and a ring compressor. Everything else can be improvised...
