I love mine. I can't speak for the 3.2 motor but for the 3.0 it feels like it opened up the top end and really sounds amazing.

I just had this same problem. I drilled off the head of the bolt then slid the axle off over the bolt. Then the bolt simply unscrewed by hand once the pressure was off it.
