It does it hot and cold. It changes with RPM, at 2,500rpm you can barely hear it, it is much noticeable at low rpms. You can hear it very loud in the right rear engine vent.

Hi guys, my boxster 99 is making a loud squeal like a bearing sound. I have checked all the bearings from the belt and none of them is making the sound.

It sound like it is coming from the engine...

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure the schock absorbers need to be changed. But is it normal that the left side is almost two inches lower than the right side?
