A few people asked if it wold fold up, so I brought it in from the freezing garage to warm it up and gave it a try.

I didn't see any signs of cracking, here it is folded and then unfolded again...

Seeing that they're just lap welded I'm wondering if a short hood turbo flare was possibly positioned lower to fit. The first picture with the side view of the green one looks off to me.
