When I go to put the 5 digit code on the radio I hear a loud beep before I get to the fifth digit. I tried leaving the key on for a few hours,but still I get a beep before I can get the code entered....

installing motor

Just picked up a 1993 325i with a blown motor. My friend has a 1992 2.5 motor that he's selling. I know that year had timing belt. Will that motor just drop right in, or am I looking for trouble....
