Anybody put a cone air filter on an R1200S?

I have an '07 and am not interested in removing my airbox, I just want to do it the simple way with a cut out. Anybody have anything to share?

I have the Ilmberger with a 190/55x17 rear. There is not a decent amount of space in there... I just looked and it seems to be about probably a little less than half an inch at it furthest apart.
