Just to end this thread with an answer and solution for my problem.

Before I read the actual solution to removing it without removing the engine, I found out that my rod was only 1,5 cm. too...

Explanation:
Did a engine swap in my 1971 Porsche 911. Installed a 1981 3.0 engine with 915 gearbox. Also changed the gear shifter bracket in the car.
