Swepco is pretty darn good for this application, and is what I use in early Porsches and Datsuns (same kind of sychros), but it is nowhere near as an effective a lubricant as modern racing gear oils....

The biggest problem the Cayman has in GS right now isn't speed, it's cooling in traffic. More power in the current car would be a tough sell to the series and would make the cooling issues worse.
