Maybe to some people, but the gauge clusters are not difficult to swap. MPH clusters are readily available on Ebay/forums. That is really the only problem.

Thats actually aircraft intake hose, typcally called SCAT or CAT hose. Designed for air intake hoses on aircraft, so its suited to high temps etc.

Its perfectly fine to use the standard 4 point part, ive been using it on my engine for several years now. The only problems are you have to use the correct bolts, and youll need some thick washers...
