90 944 s2 w/ 968 engine swap

my 944 does not want to start and it seems like the starter is not engaging all the way....... the voltage seems pretty low..... brand new battery. Can someone give me any ideas on what to check for?

yea i was going to buy a shift boot but what...

yea i was going to buy a shift boot but what concerns me is the fact that it never used to smoke like that before when punching the gas and ive never had a good boot (working around shifter area).

my 83 944 has no shift boot and at about 4-5k rpms when punching it smoke comes from the shifter :confused: can anyone help me?

it sounds like its coming from underneath the front of the car but since its only happening when the car is moving its hard to determine but it does sound like springs rubbing together

Their is weird spring noises on the 944 you can hear it while moving and a little more when i press the brake.

1983 porsche 944

i was sitting at a stop light and the light is about to turn green........ i press the clutch pedal in and a weird winding noise goes and the shifter feels to rattle so i let go...

Porsche Crest back hatch window help (83 944)

the top part of the hatch trim and window is not connected can someone help me get started with what i need to do first to bring it back to normal?:confused:

1983 944 door help

is there some way to align the doors? when i bought my car the passenger door seems to close with some force needed and it doesnt seem to close tightly on the top :( so water leaks through the top...

Lightbulb ok i disconnected my fan motor and ran the car...

ok i disconnected my fan motor and ran the car and no blown fuse! so could it be my less than a year old fan motor?:confused:

i took the canister and moved it out of the way...

i took the canister and moved it out of the way and looking at the antenna all the connections are disconnected and all the connections are free just hanging without any electrical tape covering em...

my 83 944 keeps blowing the radiator fan/antenna fuse and am very much in need in some advice or if anyone has had this same problem to fix it right away. please help me!

well i never touched the connector and it always seemed to keep good temperature before it stopped running not only that, the exact fan motor was replaced 5 months ago
