I've put ~20k miles on my 964 over almost 3 yrs. Bought at 95,000 miles. I've done reg. maintenance, but the unexpected was a new steering rack, drop links, HVAC bugs and the latest is a leaky diff...

I went to Toys R Us and got a seat with the most narrow base. I then used some racing seat belt hardware to snug it in, as well as install the rear clip in the firewall.

I had the same problem. The issue ended up being the thermostat on the back of the temp control unit. Pull out the unit and clean it up - hopefully that will solve the problem. It worked for me.

Agreed, smog is an issue in some states, but it's not an issue in all states. It was registered in Florida and Maryland before Ontario, with no problems.

Heat Prob - fan not blowing when I turn the knob to hot

When I turn the knob to hot, the fan blows for a few seconds and then shuts off. Same happens with window defrost... It stays off until I turn it to cold again.
