Thanks pete3799, tried that but the safety stop in track prevents total forward, I read somewhere this "stop" was a safety inclusion for '73. Sorry, not familiar how to insert a photo here.

Seat removal '73 911T Targa

Removed front two hex head bolts but can't slide seat far enough forward to expose rear bolts because of "stop piece" in slider track. What's the trick to get past this so called "safety stop"?

Thanks for the tip....had not thought of that, so I got out the small telescopic service mirror and flashlight and could see two 1/4 inch stones overlapping the plug shoulders, tried to blow them out...

#6 spark plug removal?

1973 911T, can remove all spark plugs without problems except plug #6...socket tool does not seat on plug, have tried different sockets.
