I've had some of those aluminum lugnuts bind and then snap when using the BF wrench, even when using anti-sieze. Not sure if the finish on my Kinesis rims is a factor, but I'll never use those...

smog failure - is it MSD, is it B&B ?

I went to smog my '88 this weekend and blew over the NOx numbers. The HC and CO were in range, here's the results:

Before you remove the old one, tie a string to the end of it. That way when you pull it out you can use the string to navigate the new one in place...

Has anyone here had a problem with the Autothority Mass Air Flow sensor and detonation?

The PO had installed the MAF on my '88 Carrera and the engine has always detonated above 5500rpm...

I looked at it again and if I pull the fuses for both head lamps, they have no effect, ie both head lamps are on (dimly) when the light switch is on. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

I posted this on the boxster board but had no response, maybe a 996 owner can tell me...

My '99 Boxster headlights are looking very dim when on low beam, but the high beams are fine...

My '99 Boxster headlights are looking very dim when on low beam, but the high beams are fine though. Fuses look good, so I'm thinking its the relay - only I can't find the relay for the headlights....
