Chris, I had Zard and headers (not 100% sure but assumed the headers were Zard too?) anyway ran the Zard system for 30,000 miles or so, then went back to the OEM system...

No commuting with it, mostly weekends or extended weekend rides, and a few week long rides. Spring/Summer/Fall of 2010 I rode 10,000+ miles less than in 2008/09.

I had a 04 ST3, rode it approx 59k mi. Liked it a lot, I'm 5'11" fit me well/no need for handlebar changes for me.

Motor was plenty powerful for my riding. Very good windscreen/fairing protection....
