Emblem removal?

I wanted to pull off my side BMW emblems to affix decals, and then reinstall. Are they glued on or what? I see no screws on the back.

I want to remove the glass mirrors from the plastic housings to try to cover with carbon fiber. I have tried, but mine seem to be tight!

Does anyone know where you can get REAL carbon fiber turn signals to put on the rear of my R1100S? All I keep finding is the carbon fiber "look" ones. I would rather have the black plastic I think.
