have you looked at the o2 sensor? I had the same symtoms last year as it was starting to get cold down here in the south.
My 85 would hesitate at or around 3500 rpms and would work fine above that,...

Have you checked your o2 sensor mine acted the same way intill I swapped it? It was hesitant intill I reached 3000 rpm then would be fine.:eek:

have you tried the o2 sensor? I had a simular problem that my 85 carrera would lose power and lurch also intill you passed the 3000 rpm range. when I disconnected the o2 sensor my problems went away....
