It often takes a long time to get oil primed. When I rebuilt my engine I had to cank on and off for 20 mins with dme relay removed before I got pressure. It takes much longer than you think.

Also 250 lb/in is way too soft in the rear without t bars for the front rates. You probably need about 700-800 in the rear.

My guess is you are losing it out of the overflow...

The knock counter is connected to the DME knock...

The knock counter is connected to the DME knock output (diagnostic connector). Basically my counter records whatever the DME sees from the 2 knock counters (s2 remember).
