I don't know about the engine mounts in a 944 automatic trans car, but my 968 automatic takes a different more expensive OEM engine mount. A regular engine mount has more engine vibration. URO mounts...

Same rack fits early and later model 944's, also the 968. Rebuilding a rack is a pain and if a seal is not just right it will leak, just get one from Auto Zone. If it leaks they will replace it free....
