we got the 944 started!

here's two videos i uploaded to youtube - she hasnt run in 10 years or so. the injectors are gummed up so were gonna do an injector service and lots of oils leaks as well, so all that is getting done...

i talked to the mechanic and he said that he did...

i talked to the mechanic and he said that he did set it to TDC with the flywheel and cam mark, and that's how he saw that the timing was off...

well, i had taken the front end of the car apart, down to the exposed timing belt. i then towed it over to them because i was a bit freaked out by doing the timing belt wrong and borking the engine....

all the belts are getting replaced, that's why i have it pulled apart - going to redo the water pump gasket, oil cooler seal, front seal, etc.

and i did mean the black roller, not the pump itself....
