Prep. for sale 997.1 Manual Trans, What to do?

I usually post over in the older car forum 3.2L.
My friend wants to sell his 997.1 I think it is a 2007 or 08.
The current miles are 55k. As far as I know all the service so far was done at a dealer but it hasn't been serviced recently. The tires are aged out so we plan to replace those. The dealer is quoting $1,500 that sounds about right, not sure what model of tire they will install.
What is the list of things to check or service to get it in top shape for a sale? Maybe there is a thread here somewhere but I didn't find it.
Thanks,
-Henry

Do the 60 service. Check the service manual schedule.
Coolant, oil, serpentine belt, brake fluid flush brake pads?, axle boots?, air filters for engine and cabin, wipers…

Agreed. PPI then the 60k miles service, including flush coolant, oil filter/change w oil analysis, gearbox and brake fluid flush. Inspect the tie rods. Putting on new tie rods, with their rubber bushings really freshens the steering response. I have a 2008 C4S w 58k, had since new. I also did the IMS bearing upgrade that pumps pressured engine oil into the bearing. I call it insurance. Check the front and rear brake rotors for wear and that they are true, ie not warped. This is also a good time to do a deep clean detail.

As for tires stick to N spec Michellin, best tire on that car.

Good luck with sale.

Update. Buddy called the dealer here (San Jose) and they don't do PPI's. The person he talked to said the 60k service covers a lot of the same as a PPI. A DME report costs $265.

If I were to buy that car, 997.1 at close to 60K miles, I would be looking for ...

water pump
thermostat
Accessory belt
all three pulleys
Spark plug
Oil, oil filter, air filter
gear box fluid change
brakes inspection more than 50% of life
Good tires
Clutch life 50% or a new clutch, PP, throw out bearing, machined flywheel and an RMS

If it is not done, it gets factored into the price.

The 60k service was completed at the dealer and was suppose to include the DME report. The word is the complete DME report is not available.
@yelcab1 - excellent list. Thanks.

If I can get pictures of documents from the 60k service I'll post here. So far I don't know why the service person said the whole DME report is not available.

That dealer is bogus. Anyone with a durametric tool can read everything from the DME.

I finally got a iphone picture of the DME report. Shows 1 ignition over-rev in 3, 4 and 5. Some in level 1 and 20 in level 2. The hours of the event doesn't show so I'm asking for a better picture. Curious about the 1 ignition, that's not many. Maybe one very small hit in the level 5 range only recorded 1 ignition, so of course it shows up in the lower ranges? Thanks for any comments.

Also, in the next few days we are going to attempt to replace the air-conditioning switches. This doesn't look too much for a DIY.
