Just got rear 305 30VR 19 for 911S 2006 with Fab Speed exhaust with 49k miles.
Had Perrellies on BMW but got flat spots due to long term storage. See set for sale for $300. just paid under $500 for rear set. Anyone used summers on garage queen? Lived in Daytona . Many PCA infield passes for Rolex 24, many tire companies, but Michlin twice to three time cost and over time they got dry rot due to age. Dont track just a couply days out in summer. Top down and winding bad roads due to poor town highway maintenance by a defunk nuculer power station on North Shore of LI. Any help on under 20° spliting. 911s cab will never be out under 40° its a cabriolet! Spell check is PIA! |

If it's a museum piece, it doesn't make much difference what you put on it.
My '15 911 came with Pirelli P-Zero's, what I'd call "dry" tires or "summer tires. That's all I've ever used. In so Cal, home of the never-ending, drought that's a fine plan. (But last year we had four time the normal rainfall). I drive about 10-12,000 miles per year. The rears seem to last about 20,000, the fronts about 50,000, so dry rot weather checking isn't an issue. The Sumitomo's are probably your best option for your minimal usage. |

If you're worried about flat spots up the car on jack stands or a lift while you're not using it
