The self leveling feature on the bi-xenon can't be installed on the 997 with the factory installed kit? Did I read this right?

You can install all the hardware using OEM parts and adapting your wiring harness, but to get the system to function, you need to have a PIWIS system recode the car, and that is where the problem lies as Porsche has instituted a program to prevent dealers from activating aftermarket installs of options (which is cheaper than getting them ordered with the car). So you will need a shop with a PIWIS, which may also present a problem as Porsche only leases the aftermarket PIWIS, and some functions are purposely disabled.
