911 newb question
New to the 911 so excuse my ignorance. I am working on a 1972. The front fenders are heavily damaged as well as rusted. I can repair them if I need to but I see Sierra Madre lists replacement front fenders for the 65-68 model year that are stock.
Then they list 69-73 model year with a slight flare at the lip. Both photos appear to be the same with the exception of the flared lip on the 69-73 fender. I would like to retain the stock lip. Will they interchange? are the front light openings and lights different? Where are the differences? I was thinking I could maybe use the early fenders and section the front light openings from the damaged ones I have on the car.

Have you looked at the fenders from Restoration Design? People seem to like what they offer.

I think they are the same part from Dansk with the slight flare on the lip but I can check with Mike on Monday.

You have a 72. I don't understand your desire to use early fenders and graft on late lips and light openings when the repro offers it already done.
