Whats the procedure to remove this darn thing and install new one; cant find it nowhere, please help !!!
Already try Dealer, they said they can't do it, but replacing the whole transmission, same story with several transmission repair shops around Dallas TX area, nobody seems to know the how, Porsche "specialists" techs: a bunch of incompetents.

What are the symptoms of the transmission that make you think the pinion bearing is bad? Last I checked, many of the transmission internals weren't even available separately? Porsche keeps moving to a "replace the whole unit" type of "efficiency".

Update...!!
99 996 Pinion Angle Bearing replacement done...! And done it by my Self...flawlessly....Booyah..!!!
I'm so surprised how dealer and Porsche "specialized" shops misleading people to get new transmission when this thing start howling, ain't walk in the park either but doable in no time.

Noticed a whine in their gearbox, it changes in pitch or volume depending on your throttle position.

Porsche has released all the standard service parts for 996 and 997 gearboxes. The only catch is the need for a 50 ton press and having to come up with some special pullers that Porsche and Getrag won't sell to you.

The pinion bearings are known for going bad. They are a sealed bearing and it has led to a number of premature failures.

Actually a just 30 ton press did the trick, plus some critical procedures to prevent the hollow shaft from shattering.

I admire you determination and resourcefulness. It is a difficult job.
Please tell us how you supported the hollow shaft to prevent buckling. Some have used a McPerson strut inserted inside the shaft!
The pullers - you need long leg version with very strong ,slim hooks- what did you use?
And then you have to get the new bearing on. Usually requires freezer/heat treatment to get it to slide on.
Yes, the devil is in the details, so please share when you have time.
