4 cyl. 944 motor, 5 speed (G50), complete new and updated Sachs clutch,
new Gates Kevlar timing and balance belts, pulleys, etc.,
water pump/thermostat/thermoswitch and sender, new Bilstein shocks and
struts, cold A/C, Blaupunkt AM/FM/Cassette, Michelin tires in good shape,
15 in factory Phone Dial alloy rims. Complete service history. Regular 3k mile
oil changes. Try to find another in this condition. NADA average retail is $9,600.

Price reduction: After some further market research here, on pca.org, rennlist.com, and elsewhere, I have decided to reduce the ask to $6,000 or best offer. I think it is probably worth more, but not to me at this point, needing the garage space....

Also, want to include the extras that come with it, too numerous to list all, but including the Haynes repair manuals, air compressor, stereo aux input (for CD, ipod or
iphone integration), original sunroof bag, custom fit cotton car cover, custom fit front
bra, spare filters, fuel pump relay and fuses kit, accelerator cable, spare ECU's (2) and
belts, original tool kit and various specialty tools appropriate to the car.

In a paen to Brock, this car is ready to Cannonball...IF you remember what that was all about... :-)

And yes, it has always been garaged. From the time I traded my totally rebuilt 240Z for it in 2008, to the present. Photos are of it and stablemates, over this period....

PRICE REDUCTION: I have decided to reduce the price to get this car sold. I truly do need the garage space before the snow flies. My wife is patient, but not that patient when it comes to getting her parking space back!

I want to keep her, and the 911, so the 924S has got to go! Would prefer it go to someone who will appreciate it. It has been a wonderful little car. If you have been looking for something like this, give me a call or email. Would like to make it happen!

I guess I should mention that persons responding to the ad should keep in mind what they are looking at, and check with their mommy first before making a bid or offer. It does take time to respond to inquiries, to detail the car for purposes of presenting well, etc. Done a bit of this in recent weeks, only to have the interested party indicate that there is a blemish here or there (it's a 30 year old car!), or indicate that they don't have approval from the wife, significant other (whatever) to make such a purchase, fill up their garage (fill in the blank).... I know, I know, comes with the territory, right? Well, not so much. You are looking at a classic car, they don't make them anymore, and it is a business transaction. Sheesh. Surely there is someone out there that would enjoy this car, and appreciate it. I drove it to work the other day. Such a great car. Also, I helped a friend last night with his son's old '83 944 (same exterior color, Guards Red; brown interior). Bad fuel pump. Being brought back out of storage. It is a real fixer upper, but worth $1,500, as it runs. Quite a contrast between the two cars. One that needs quite a bit of work, and one that needs nothing. Interested in either, inquire here.

Turned over 97K miles during a trip to Hannibal,Mo for a river cruise and meal. Ran flawlessly, cool in 90 degree heat. Great little car...

Exterior paint condition photos.... On the roof, that is a reflection of trees outside.
On the hood, that is a reflection of the air compressor on my garage ceiling....

Looking at the first of these pictures, of the drivers floorboard, I notice I had not vacuumed it first. The carpet (plush) is very good when properly vacuumed. I was asked what the spots were....lint! Should have vacuumed it first....

The car is sold. Thanks to Dave Matzen of the LA Porsche Experience Center and his Dad, Ron. It will now stable with its offspring, and it will be enjoyed.
