My better half is trying to think of some inner Loop, big parking lot areas with food and beer, since she works in there. One option was the Stag's Head. I personally can't think of anything good in the Village, nor anywhere on Richmond or Westheimer. Richmond Arms would work (they're used to cars), but I'd have to check when they're going to be open (probably all day).

Chuy's at Westheimer and Kirby. Big parkinglot, good Tex-Mex food, 'ritas and beer, outdoor patio.

Done, problem solved.

I'm all for Chuy's! Probably best to miss the 11:30 to 1:00pm crowd. Or get there at 11:00 am and get the front row.

I don't know what they're like on a shopping-based Friday holiday thingy...

I'm good for either early and take the front row, or 1PM and miss the crowd. I can also get there early (it's kinda in my 'hood) and get a spot ready.

I'm in but the weather isn't looking good. The SC may have to stay at home where it's warm and dry.

I can only do Sunday if I'm out of there by 2

I thought about the rain this morning, and figured there be a couple of Chicken Littles who got askeered from that

I'm happy with being there on Friday at 1ish, and if no one shows up, and we re-schedule, then I'll be there too.

Mrs. Pazuzu says that the corner of Kirby and Westheimer is MESSED UP, not Porsche safe. So, come in from the West on Westheimer, from the South take Buffalo Speedway from 59, then right on Westheimer. If you come from the East, take Richmond past Kirby to Buffalo, then hang two rights. From the North, turn West on San Felipe and then left on Buffalo, right on Westheimer.

EDIT!!!

Apparently it's all of Kirby, even down to Richmond. So, take a wide route in there from the West, and only come in from Westheimer. San Felipe, 59, Edloe, 610 are all good options. Highland Village on Westheimer (where the hoity toity folks shop) is gonna be a wreck.

OK I'll see how well the cab top is sealed. Don't mind the washing but it's a B*tch to dry out carpet. So it's 1pm Friday a Chuy's?

1:00 Friday it is.
If it rains I'll also leave the pcar at home.

So how will I know who all you guys are? I've only met a few folks before....let's see how about someone wear some type of Porsche gear and I'll be wearing a porsche shirt. So if you see someone standing at the front door looking stupid in a pcar shirt that'll be me Also we can tell the host that we are the porsche group.

I'll have on a PCA or Porsche ball cap. I don't think my C.R.A.P. t-shirt would fit in....

I bet I'm there first, so look for my silver coupe.

I'll have on jeans and a black pocket t-shirt, because that's all I ever wear. I'll be accessorized with a beer

Just found this thread. Bummed out that I won't be able to make it because of family T/giving obligations. I hope I can meet up another time. Cheers.
