Supertech Performance
http://www.supertecperformance.com/ near LA (Costa Mesa) builds engines and will also rebuild/customize transmissions. They are great to deal with and have a good reputation. They don't cut any corners, so it might well be a bit more. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Esspecially with transmissions. Henry will tell you exactly what he will do/replace.
