Ive had two, both first gen cars, one S and one standard. Great fun to drive and surprisingly practical inside. I did find both to feel cheap in terms of rattles and squeaks, and just like a BMW everything was plastic and snapped together. I hated working on them because I always broke stuff getting to the items I wished to fix.
