Saw that a while ago - simply wild... Big wave surfing has gotten to crazy extremes now with the advent of tow-in. I recommend “Step Into Liquid” for some insights into what its become... and the limits keep getting pushed harder and harder every year.

I’m a traditionalist and stick to waves I can paddle onto - no jet skis or boats for me. I’ll stick to waves up to about double OH size and that’s it. Anything bigger than that is just too scary for me - I’ll admit it! Huge respect for these folks that’ll go out into the really monster sick stuff. It’s really amazing to see!
