Premium vs Sport package in 1999?
I'm looking at 1999 323 convertables, and wondering what exactly was in both the premium and sport packages (I've seen some cars with both even).
Anyone know? Thanks! Chuck

premium usually means its got, the real nice leather interior, wood, tititanium,carbonfiber or other type of fancy interior trim, also the hi grade HK stereo, navigation, in short all the bells and whistles, minus the sport suspension unless it also has sport package.

I have the wood package, alarm, 6-disc changer...yet when I called BMW to get a full list of options, they never mentioned the above. Why is that??

Those kind of acc are sometimes added at the dealer after purchase of brandnew car, therefore they would not show up on options list when its run on the data banks. email me with the vin.. I'll try to find out for you. javier@pelicanparts.com

I believe that you can order the premium package with the sport package installed
According to the BMW 3 Series Companion by Jeremy Walton, "Sports package includes: soprt suspension (on Coupe only) 16X7 Cross Spoke alloy wheels with 225/50/ZR-16 performance tires, front foglights. Premium package includes: leather seat upholstery, two way power sunroof (fully automatic top on convertible) remote keyless entry security system, front center armrest." A limited slip differential was also an ooption on these cars as well, but it was not included in the packages, according to my info. |
