M Logo Early M3 values

I love the early 4 cyl. M3. What are they going for? I looked at a few sites and could not even find one for sale? Are they getting that rare?

Thats one of the great cars...hard to find...
If you find one use caution because they come two ways...either really beat up and worn and need a lot of repair those are usually the affordable ones...
the nice ones are real pricy...but worth it..
check the eurocar mags
they have calssified sections in the back with cars for sale...

for an early model you're looking at 13k for one that's in decent condition. early model good condition 15-18k and then up from there. every once in a while you see one for under 13k that's in good condition.

well, buying a 6cyl would be a better buy than a 4cyl when buying a bmw in general, but this is a 2.3l 4cyl in a small, light car that can handle like nothing else. depends on what you want from a car, i suppose. just my $0.02.

Ideally, yu would want to get one of the later 2.5 Evo models if you can find one. In my opinion, i have driven both the early and later M3's and i'll take an eary one every day. The cars are light, and in my opinion, much more fun to drive.

That's all well and good, but the E30 Evos were never imported into the US. The 2.5s you see for sale are either rebuilt 2.3s or somebody somehow managed to get a real 2.5 into the US and did an engine swap.
