What's wrong with the injectors I already have now???

Hi. I am at the beginning (still) of my project. I haven't yet, installed any of the parts that I had acquired until I know I have all my right parts to doing my build. So my question is, Do I really need to change my fuel injectors when I install my forced induction? If so, does anyone know or perhaps recommend a brand of injectors for an m44. I have no clue on anything about fuel injection specs and what works with that and this. Thank you in advance or taking the time to read my post.

Sorry, so sorry. Im so noobish I can't believe I didn't mention on the post what my project car is. My apologies, I did not mean to be rude. I own a 1996 318ti compact, Alpine white paint with very little upgrades. I bought the car with 65,000 miles for 2k. Today, I have 75,000 ball park miles. I have installed airbags for my suspension, changed out all bushings to polys. Got a short throw chassis mounted shifter put in and now looking into starting up my turbo install. Well actually, I have some and not yet all the parts to my build. Until then, when I have all my needed parts to start installing... I would like to pick the brain of someone who has the ultimate bmw knowledge that I'm seeking. This is my first BMW and I actually enjoy my car. Thank you all for bmw forums. BTW, my first bmw forum post and I'm all excited for it.

Your stock fuel injectors have a limit that your turbo setup may exceed. If you're going to run forced induction you need the ECU tuned for adjustments. If you have at tuner they should be able to set it up for the injectors you plan to run. luckily bosch style injectors are plentiful. 440cc is usual a modest size people upgrade to when extracting extra horsepower

okay Matt got it! Would I need to upgrade anything else? Like my fuel pump or the fuel rails located with the injectors?

If it's in the budget I would suggest an aftermarket fuel pump. The stock one is probably only good for about 250-275hp, after that it's going to struggle. The stock fuel rail should be fine to use though.

You might want to research rising rate fuel pressure regulators (RRFPR) (sometimes called an FMU). Back in the day people would use those to compensate fuel on boosted applications. But, that was more popular back when ECU tuning was difficult.
Now companies like sssquid tuning and ireland engineering offer turbo Eprom chips you can swap into the computer.

Okay right on, will I be able to purchase those parts mentioned at Pelican? Injectors and fuel pump?

You should definitely research to figure out what others are doing on this application, but I can at least help get you in a general direction.

The only adjustable FPR I believe we carry is from BavAuto and it flows at a 1:15 ratio that works great but note it is not rising rate so may run into having enough extra fueling under boost:

I would suggest checking out this older thread with some good info about the differences between a RRFPR and AFPR as well as running them together:
Why use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

For fueling you need a pump that can circulate enough fuel through the feed and return lines. We do not carry anything direct fit unfortunately so you may need to get creative. You could find a pump for a stock turbo/ forced induced car or look into brands like Walbro who are known for high performance pumps and figure out a way to modify it to your fuel system:

Injectors will also require some research. You need Bosch or Bosch-style injectors for the rail. You might be able to get away with "pink top" BMW M52 injectors to start but only for low HP:

There's TONs of info if you google and check BMW specific forums pages. My knowledge is rather limited as it's been about 10+ year since adding forced induction to a NA BMW but hopefuly this helps!
