BMW Roundel How to reset radio code.

Help The battery on my 94 325Is , went dead. I installed a new battery and now the radio is not working. I have the card with the code number on it . The Question I have is? Can I reset the radio or do I have to take it back to the dealer. If it can be done can someone explain to me how to do It. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Vic

just turn on your car and the radio. Then punch the numbers in and it should work.
